About us
Hi i'm Rebecca / Becka person behind POL ❤️ I am a wife to a shift worker and a mum 1 little guy + 2 fur babies.
I have a mixed background when it comes to ‘work’ but I found my passion in the administration area where I have worked in a variety of different roles and companies in different sectors. After having my little guy my priorities obviously changed a little and I am now lucky enough to run my own business / passion project and have a part time working from home role.
When I’m not keeping busy doing being a mum and POL things you will find me either hanging with fam, walking with the little guy and fur babes or in the kitchen.
Heres some random facts about me
* I meant my hubby / baby daddy on Tinder
* Hold the coffee, gimme a chai (but make it sweet)
* I somehow managed to get in the finals in a local karaoke competition when I was like 8? Singing ABBA’s ‘Dancing Queen’ - I think I got 8th but guuuuys! I can not sing 😂
* My 2 Fur Babes are Australian
About POL
Why the name - I know I love the idea of being organised but we all know being fully organised isn’t really a thing, is it? So ‘Partially’ really stuck :P
How it came about - I love the ecommerce store that I have set up called Boston Babes which makes and sells hospital bag organisers. But I wanted a little something else as I was leaving my part-time job and needed a bit more income coming to justify me being able to stay home aannnd to keep me nice and busy (I’m a total busy body).
I came up with the idea for POL when life was feeling a little hectic and crazy. My husband had just started shift work and I just didn’t know where life was at. I am such a visual person so I just wanted to look somewhere and see what the week / month was going to look like (and that hubby could easily find and see too) Soo I came up with the idea to have some epic designs, that are magnetic so they can be easily attached to the fridge and are wipeable so you can be reused time and time again.
Normally I come up with LOTS of different business ideas and then they sort of fade away, but this one didn’t it kept coming into my mind. So I took the plunge and did it, and here we are!
